When we became the first British manufacturer of friction stays in 1976, we knew the importance of developing an independent supply chain from the very beginning. Once we established our unparalleled quality control and best possible customer service, we shifted our focus to our supply chain and how to mitigate global shortages for our customers.

Expanding to India and Beyond

Expanding our supply into India through our state-of-the-art brownfield site in Pune, we became better positioned to help Indian window manufacturers thrive and start offering the best friction stays available on the market. Through the success of this expansion, we could accelerate our production capacity in India to continue to improve our excellent accessibility and delivery locations.

With over a decade of presence in India, we are proud to become a reliable hardware supplier that our customers can rely on for high-quality hinges, handles, friction stays and support arms. By integrating our supply chains with India, we soon became one of Europe’s largest friction stay manufacturers. We are beyond proud of this achievement as we continue to expand and improve our product offering.

From a small business to an international brand, we have created a fully independent technical supply chain for our products. Covering over 56 countries worldwide, such as the UK, USA and India, we continue to build our company reputation with window manufacturers through excellence. Looking back at our progress, we have seen fantastic growth internally and externally within the company.

Global Leaders

Being the only business of its kind to own its supply chain, we can use our products, services and skills to mitigate global shortages. Our team works hard every day to manufacture, supply and deliver high-quality products throughout Europe and overcome the shortages our window manufacturing partners were experiencing.

Throughout 2021, our Ultra Parallel Stays saw exponential sales growth of over 150% globally. Spanning across India, the UK and the USA, we took on one of our most significant parallel stay projects for Navratna Corporate Tower in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During this time, over 2,000 parallel stays were used across the over 35,000 square metre facade. We felt privileged to supply our products for a project of its size and nature.

Looking Forwards

Looking to the future, we hope to continue towards world leadership in our field. Evaluating our history and where we look to be, we want to create partnerships and meet new customers as we continue to grow year after year. We can continue to meet customer lead times and surpass expectations by continually growing our in-house production.
